       Locally made in Annapolis Royal, NS

 

These beautiful, fused glass birds are made in Nova Scotia by The Glass Bakery. Each bird is a unique piece of art and look beautiful hanging in your window. The shape of the bird is first cut in clear glass. Layers of powdered coloured glass are then applied between the clear layers. Each piece is kiln baked, fused at ultra high temperatures then carefully cooled for resilience.  No paints, glazes or moulds are used. No two birds are the same.

(Item shipped may vary slightly from the ones shown, in terms of bird markings because each is unique.)

Chicks: Glasswork about 2.5”.

Adults: Glasswork about 3.5 x 5”.

NOTE: These birds have gift envelopes and are fairly easy to ship. Since each is unique, item shipped may vary slightly from the one shown. Several birds can ship for the one shipping fee - we can assess that once we receive your order.
