Both are graduates of the Ornamental Horticulture program at the old Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro. They met at the Pleasant Valley Nurseries in Antigonish, where they worked together for decades. Together they have long been interested in native plants. They enjoy Summer jaunts into the wilds looking for new ones.
