Maritime Arboretum focuses on the promotion and survival of native species of the Acadian, Great Lakes region, and Carolinian forests. They are based in Springhill, Nova Scotia and harvest wild, mostly native species of trees, shrubs, vines and groundcovers from the Maritime Provinces, Quebec, and Southern Ontario.
