She is the author of Out of Old Nova Scotia Kitchens, Out of Nova Scotia Gardens, and Cooking with Friends, a nominee for the 2004 Cuisine Canada/University of Guelph National Culinary Book Award. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
